An AI copilot for coding interviews

GhostCue is a desktop app for live coding rounds. It reads the problem off your screen, hears the interviewer on the call, and puts an answer beside your editor while the conversation carries on.

From the problem on screen to an approach you can say

Click into the window with the problem and press Screenshot. GhostCue reads the text on your display and answers it: the approach in one line, the code, and its complexity. The text is read on your computer; no picture of your screen is sent.

If the problem is longer than the screen, scroll to the rest and press Screenshot again. The answer grows to cover the whole question, and GhostCue tells you when it thinks part is still missing.

When the interviewer pushes on your solution

Coding rounds rarely end at the first solution. Press Answer when they ask something like "what's the complexity of your approach?" While your Screenshot card is still in your answers, the follow-up is answered about that problem. You can also type your own question in Chat.

Auto answer is on at first, so an answer to something they say can appear without a press. Switch it off with the Auto switch on the bar.

Choose how much help you get

Pick a Mode on the start screen. Coding Round fits most technical rounds. Coach gives you the next move rather than the finished answer. Either way, read what's on the card before you use it, because an answer can be wrong.

Screen sharing

GhostCue asks your computer to keep the bar out of screen shares and recordings. Most meeting and recording apps respect that, but not all of them, and not on all systems. Check yours before a real interview.

Try it

GhostCue runs on macOS 13+ and Windows 10/11, and you start with 10 free trial sessions of 10 minutes (3 until you verify your email). Download GhostCue or read how it works during an interview.
